The GT-Fast Prep ARTIC SARS-CoV-2 Library Preparation Kit is a molecular reagent kit containing all primers and reagents for the amplification and downstream preparation of SARS-CoV-2 gRNA extracts from wastewater matrices. GT Molecular’s high-performance workflow, in combination with the ARTIC V5.3.2 NCOV-2019 panel, provides researchers with 99.7% coverage of the SARS-CoV-2 genome, ideal for variant tracking and novel variant identification while monitoring SARS-CoV-2 viral outbreaks. This kit is optimized for use for wastewater extracts known to be positive for the presence of SARS-CoV-2, as determined by digital or real-time PCR.

Requirements
This kit has been validated for the preparation of NGS libraries using wastewater samples extracted using Promega (Maxwell® RSC Enviro TNA kit, Cat#AS1831) or CERES (CERES Nanotrap® Microbiome A Particles (Cat#44202-30); CERES Nanotrap® Enhancement Reagent 1 (Cat#10111-30); Thermo Fisher Scientific MagMAX™ Wastewater Ultra Kit (Cat#A52606) extraction workflows, please contact us for extraction workflow recommendations. This kit is designed for use with samples known to be positive for the presence of SARS-CoV-2, as determined by real-time PCR or digital PCR, with a limit of detection of 5 copies of SARS-CoV-2 per µL of extract. We recommend using the GT-Digital Flu;SC2;RSV Wastewater Surveillance Panel (Cat# 100735 or 100740) to identify positive SARS-CoV-2 wastewater extracts.
